Bed Time!

Okay, so it was time for Théo to get a regular twin size bed or within the next couple of weeks, his feet would have popped over the foot of the bed.

After a LONG search for the perfect bed, we finally opted to go back to...
...yup, Ikea. Deep down we knew that it would end up being from our favorite Swedish store.

But first we had to make sure that it would fit perfectly in his room given the slanted ceiling.

And it did! So we now had to take it apart to make some improvements...but Théo really wanted to enjoy his new bed so even though there was no mattress, he already spent his first night breaking it in by sleeping on his old mattress directly underneath.

Now it was time for our first Ikea hack...

After many night and hours of painting (I mean HOURS) we finally put it back together once again.
And Théo was definitely ready to get rid of his toddler bed which once belonged to his cousin Bruno. (and will definitely be used again for Fiona).Out with the old, in with the new!!!
