Spring Break in Chilly

A little over eight months after our last trip, we were back in Chilly, where I grew up. But at the beginning it was only Théo and I since Rachel was going to meet us a week later for an exchange program she was doing with her school and that she was chaperoning.
We spent the very first day at the rugby field since my old team was hosting a game so we could meet up with some old faces. From that day on, Théo was going to spend almost everyday outside, enjoying a beautiful summery kind of weather.
So even though we were enjoying the company of everyone and even if Théo was having a lot of fun, he was still missing his maman. And so when the day arrived and we brought Rachel back from the airport, Théo was a very happy boy to have his maman back so he could tell her all the new things he learned to say. While we were at Papylain and Mamie-Jo's house, we were spending most of the day near the chicken house where Théo enjoyed very much looking at them and trying to feed them. So much that each time we tried to go back inside, he refused to leave them and insisted on staying even if we spent the whole afternoon.
But vacation always goes by too fast and this time wasn't any different. We had to say goodbye to friends and family after two weeks of fun that were really relaxing...well especially for me since Rachel was still working with the exchange! But luckily for her, her real vacation was just starting...

i LOVE the new photos of Théo and seeing his latest adventures-- esp the one of his soaring in the sky like a cherub, feeding the chickens and eating a big buttery croissant!

Thank you Sara! It was a REALLY nice trip and break from work. We had such a good time except that Rachel didn't get the chance to hang out with us :(
Although it's been so crazy at work that I need another 3 weeks off at least!!!!
