Halloween is just around the corner and so it was time to go pumpkin picking. Saturday we went to Hacklebarney Farm in Chester to find some good ones to get ready for Théo's first Halloween. An outing in the countryside with a donut and some hot apple cider, overall it was a nice fall day.
Of course, we had to carve those pumpkins to complete our task and that's what we did the following day. Watch out, here's the end result...October 26, 2010

Great pumpkins !!!!!!!!!!! They are all terrific! I am sure Claire wanted to take her pumpkin back to France. Théo could pass as a little gnome for Halloween in his red sweater. So cute!!!!!
Looks like a perfect day! Red suits Théo very well- great sweater.
Théo is just the cutest! He looks so adorable in that sweater, I think he needs one for every year :) Your pumpkins look like they are out of Martha Stewart magazine. I need to get those little carving knives.
Mom, we LOVE Théo's sweater. He's SO cute in it. It was a nice late afternoon trip to the Cider Mill. I'm glad we all went.
Michelle, yep, it was the perfect day. Sometimes I almost feel I lived in the country!
Sara, Thanks for the compliment! We got the knives in a kit at CVS! Well now there all in France 'cause we gave them to Claire so I have to get new ones for next year :0)
