Date Night

Last Friday, Bev suggested that she would come and babysit Théo to give Rachel and I the opportunity to go out just the two of us. We loved the idea and of course accepted because it had been a long time since we were able to have a special evening like this.
We thought that movie and dinner would be perfect for the occasion. We opted to go see "The Heartbreaker" in Chatham (seems like French movies are doing OK) followed by dinner at Shanghai Jazz in Madison. The concept of this place is to offer live jazz music while having a nice dinner or, sipping a drink (or two) at the bar.
The results of the evening: the movie was very good and we laughed out loud a lot ; and the restaurant was a good experience where we had a great Jazz concert with a band composed by one pianist, one bass player, and one drummer. The food though was just average but didn't take anything away from this unique experience.
Thank you again Bev for having babysat Théo last Friday ; you can come again whenever you want!

Oh, really you guys should go see it! I was think of putting a link to the teaser but I thought they were showing to much of the movie and I didn't want to take away anything from the funny moments...especially those that you don't expect! Go for it...you will have a good time.

I am not sure who had a nicer evening, the two of you or the two of us. Théo was an angel, as always!! We will do this again real soon.

I am going to keep that jazz place in mind. I like places like that! And I love Romain Duris, so I know this is going to also be on my list of must-sees. I am sure Bev would come whenever you beckoned! Its like that with Nannys and Nanas...Tonight, I have Bruno!

Mom - I'm sure you had a great night too with your grandson! I think he loves staying with his Nany and he's looking forward to YOUR next date night :)
Arlette - If you like Jazz you would like this place and you won't be disappointed with the movie. I think this is the movie I laughed the most at for a while!!!
