Update 04-27: and so they left. It was really nice to have them with us a little longer and show them more of our everyday life - they were even able to see International Night at Rachel's school and dance to "Staying Alive" while eating french fries at Johnny Rockets...crazy stuff, right! Anyway, good luck to you back home guys, we love you ;)
Last week, Seb and Astrid came for a visit with the kids for 5 days. They came a last time before going back to France. So we tried to enjoy the time with them as much as we could before they had to fly over the ocean and leave North America for good. Between a trip to the farm in Chester, an afternoon at the science museum at Liberty Park, some games of pictionary and a good barbecue, time once again just flew by and Sunday came too fast......except that... yes, thanks to Iceland, all the flights got canceled because of the volcanic eruption! It was a little stressful to deal with the airline companies about the situation and everything else, but they finally got their tickets reimbursed and now they're gonna stay another whole week with us...awesome! At least there is one good thing that happened because the volcano. Crazy mother nature!
