Memorial Day weekend gives me the occasion to write some little words to say that my blog is still around. So this past weekend felt like a real nice mini-vacation.
After having done some gardening at Bonne-Maman's for mother's day and her annual BBQ, I had some time to take care of our little place and finish potting our little plants and little seeds in our little pots on our little porches. So now everything is looking good...at least I think so :o)
And since I finished everything on Friday, I just enjoyed Saturday watching 3 hours of rugby between the french league semi-final and the Hcup final...thanks to Justin Tv, on which I was able to enjoy some "not so girly fights" the day before between Bourgoin and Northampton (yes this was rugby too)
Sunday, as we all know, all good rugbymen have a sensitive soul and so we went to the Iris Garden in Montclair with Darren, Kelly and Elliot for a nice afternoon under the sun. And because looking at flowers is very tiring and brings on your appetite, we had to stop by "Bonjour Montclair" for some awesome crepes. I highly recommend the salmon/goat cheese/pesto/whatever else they put in it and I don't remember.
Then, on the last of our three day weekend, I was finally able to treat our wooden table and chairs with teak oil to give them some nice color and a second life...something I wanted to do for over a year now! As you can see in the picture, it's much better now!
So this is it, nothing extraordinary, just our little happy life, but this is what we did these last few days.
Now it's back to work but luckily, this week Saturday is coming faster than usual :o)
